The Next Chapter for DraftSight

Pros: DraftSight is a welcome addition to the SOLIDWORKS Premium package I use and a great replacement for AutoCAD subscription. Interface and command toolbars are intuitive and easy to use. You barely see the difference from the older version of AutoCAD 2012 LT we used in the past. Customer support was great so far.

DraftSight is being used for cabinet design and construction. It is being used by two people in the company. DraftSight allows me to design, draw and accurately dimension home cabinets so that the manufacturing team can build the cabinets offsite and help reduce installation problems.

The best part of all is that you don't sacrifice quality and performance to get the low price. It's 99% as capable as software costing 10 times as much. I use it for working at home and on the road because it is the best .dwg compatible software you can get for the price.
